Day 1
Take a Seal watching cruise! Travel along Phillip Island's coastline to Seal Rock, where up to 8000 Fur Seals live.In the afternoon walk historic Churchill Island, and have some afternoon tea in the restaurant with scenic views of the bay.
Day 2
Approximately a 2 hour walk takes you along the beach of Silverleaves to Observation Point, or you can do the 2 hour walk from Cape Woolamai to the highest point on the island (109m). The rookeries are full of Shearwaters between October-April. Afterwards stop by at the local airport, and take a scenic helicopter flight to trace your walking route from a different perspective!
Day 3
French Island Cruise! Jump aboard the ferry to French Island Natural Park and take the award winning Eco Tour to some of the island's natural wonders...wild koalas and an array of bird life. Lunch at the historic McLeod Prison Farm, now an eco farm specialising in organic produce.
Day 4
Tour the Gourmet Deli Country! The Gippsland hills are rich in green slopes and gourmet produce. Follow the Gourmet Deli Trail to find organically grown fruit and berries, local honey, ham and trout, and other locally produced delicacies. There are also numerous wineries to be found throughout South Gippsland, but make sure to finish up at the Phillip Island Winery with a glass of 2002 Estate Chardonnay.
